​VARD Piping is the manufacturer and installer of pipes in VARD.  In order to develop in-house piping competence, VARD acquired the Norwegian piping supplier Johansen Maritime in 2007, and the company has been renamed VARD Piping.

This subsidiary has a history back to 1923, and has developed extensively since then. VARD Piping produces pipes and installs piping systems, both for shipbuilding projects and more land-based building projects.

Approx. 150 employees are today employed within this area, some 50 in Norway and 100 in Romania.
